Can not agree with you. I bought my Sf90 AF in the knowing that nothing under a million can compete with this car (expect the 765lt on higher speed). Actually 1000hp at around 5-7k is almost a bargain.
The sf90 is rarer than a Pista production wise (coupe vs coupe). The aventador succesor is still 1-2 years out till it comes to the customer, and probably with its V12 underperforming as usual (even with electrification). The only upcoming competitor i see is the Mclaren 720s succesor ( but at least 2-3 years out and not fixed if V8 or V6.
Nobody bought the Sf90 because of limitation, as it is not (but still rarer then most new Ferrari) or because of hypercar status. It has hypercarperformance but with a super car price.

In my country there are 27 Pista to sale and 15 sf90. Pistas below MrsP, Sf90 above or at Mrsp.
So you see it difference a lot from country to country.
By the way i sold my Pista after the Sf90 arrived, because the Sf90 is so much more car than the pista and those everything on an other level

And I couldn’t agree with you any more.. exactly my thoughts on why I bought SF90 AF.. made my Pista irrelevant and the price delta to change is a bargain. Can’t think of a car with this performance unless I’m spending $1.5 to $2M on used 918 Spyder or P1, which opens me up to $100k battery replacements. Not sure where previous poster is getting this normal production car and 3 yrs left of production story from… it’s less than 22 months production run left and 90% of that are SF90 Spider production.. Coupe will trickle through and 2200 to 2400 seems to be the consensus number on Worldwide SF90 Production Coupe, and Spiders this time potentially more than Coupe. For example there are close to 420 Pista Coupes in UK and under 100 SF90 AF Coupes in UK, there is no comparison in the cars IMHO, and 75% less produced..oh and no more nightmares with that Pista Lithium Battery. But I’ve said this before, it’s the Assetto Fiorano SF90 I’m talking about, the SF90 Standard car is not my cup of tea and would have kept the Pista if this was the only option and didn’t have the firmer suspension option.. anyway it’s all about opinions..

@JJ77, spot on, i am speaking aswell about the AF car. Notice here a lot of critisme comes frome people who never habe driven/bought the SF90, some of them tries to speak down the Sf90 all the time..

That’s my suspicion.. I’m a die hard Petrol head I wish hybrid ev was not happening to sports car manufacturers, but I got to call it how I see it, the SF90 with Assetto Fiorano Pack is a phenomenal car, fantastic Ferrari, it’s a tour de force and Ferrari deserve a lot of credit what they have done here for the price point, probably when every Ferrari Fibre in their body didn’t want to have to do it.

I think premiums will come in very significantly over the next 6 months as rates keep getting cranked up and assets of all kinds are coming down. In the UK SF90 are already offered below msrp, for example this one at Tom Hartley which is offered at £120k below list for a 2,900 mile car with a great spec.
I don’t think the SF90 is beloved and my friends that have one all say the same thing … the car is amazing … but I’m selling it.
If you are buying only to flip I would advise caution.

My comments have nothing to do with performance, or performance for money, they are focused on resale, after all that is the subject of this thread :). I will buy the SF90 special addition once it is released, I am convert to the model. As for resale, the numbers below are pulled from Ferrari's dealers listings in the USA. The big question is why are there so many for sale?

Numbers of cars (coupes) for sale:

    Pista - 23 cars
    F8 - 29 cars
    SF90 - 55 cars

US Market is always under supplied compared to others - That's why we're seeing a Giallo SF90 fetch 750k only to get bid turned down
Whereas there's a Nero SF90 for sale in UK for 500k usd ask

I believe as SF90Spiders arrive many are trading in their SF90Coupes...about 30% have more than 1000 miles...and then some are flippers and then some are maybe overwhelmed by the car as it is a lot to handle, ever see Harry's video?

Most of these cars are being sold by customers who see their spiders in production and need to get rid of their Stradales.

Question is more if it is released/made as there is no official comfirmation by factory to any dealers.
Pure speculation so fare and also some rumors that there is no VS but the pictures are mules for the updated Bosch elecmotors for the upcoming laferrari succesor and mules for the FXX..

Also a VS coud be (to) close performance wise to the laferrari succesor?
A lot of ifs, and at the end if there is a VS in 2 years be now, who can get it. Probably first poeple who bought the regular Sf90..
To have your name down on any dealerlist for a car wich may come or not is pretty much useless and pure speculation by the dealer itself, not really serious

At the presentation of the Sf90 we were told by Marenello there is no VS planned. However thing can change quickly

Have SF90AF Spider on order - SF90's / location are not all equal.
US Dealer receives 40 - 50 cars per year with customers that buy everything that Ferrari makes.
Some owners must sell for next incoming - not rocket science.
Used car salespeople remark - that is how they provide for their family, not nice to be little others.
Lambo Mclaren are all in high demand and they are closing their books to flippers or short timers. Suggest building bridges vs brining them.

TBH I don’t think it’s a good time to buy anything, not cars, not watches, not real estate. S90 is a great car, comment isn’t specific to SF90.

and PS probably not stocks either, think we are now in a sell rallies environment not a buy dips

Barring difficult or impossible to replicate cars, watches, RE, and time sensitive purchases I agree. Too much headwinds to chance it and fairly unlikely you can’t get the same or better deals later on. Of course guys way smarter than I am may be leaning in as they see other factors so ymmv!

I'm following the German market now for a while. There are price reductions in the asking price and new cars (coupe) with ask around list now, also from Ferrari dealers slightly used at list - and that's just the asking price. A little room for negotiation is always there. I guess all the ones with a high premium over list will not sell here anymore.

I’ll see how it looks Q4. I would like to pick one up. Why so many with black interiors? There are so many beautiful tans…. Is this because people prefer or do you think it is easier for resale?

Not to mention the carbon fiber inside looks so much better with a tan interior. It gets lost with the black.

I’ve been Looking for an SF90 here in Florida best I’ve found has been a 2022 less than 1K miles for about $100k over MSRP. MSRP is little more than 570k
