... and the tires still spun! ... with '1ft rollout' it was a '9.19 second 1/4 mile' on the street, completely stock, full tank of 93.
If i put Ferrari Carbon rims on the car, went to the drag strip on a good 'DA' day, limited the gas to 3 gallons ... i would be in the 8's for sure and 0-60 under 2 seconds ... with '1ft rollout' my current 0-60 is 2.1 secs!
I was never really interested in 1/4 mile times when it comes to road cars. Yes, any sports car that has electric assistance is going to have really good times. My 94 ZX 9R did a 10.85 in the 1/4 mile when i was timed at the Carlsbad 1/4 mile track, and it only had 125 HP at the crank. Ive been so used to fast motorcycles that cars do not impress me. Last Saturday when I picked up my Hyabusa I was at 170 mph on the 22 so fast that it would make your head spin . I have not run my Suzuki at the drags yet, but its a 9 second bike all day long. As far as the tesla plaid, yeh I see all kinds of videos of that racing against motorcycles, big ****ing deal, I could care less about a 1000 HP electric car. I would rather have the SF 90 over that in any case. Im not a fan of any Ferraris with electric motors in them, its just not my style. Sure the 90 is fast, but I would take a 355 or a 488 , or a Pista any day of the week and twice on Sunday, I could care less that it has 1000 HP, pretty soon we will see posts here about the 90 crashing and burning when some prick drives it beyond his capability, it that simple. Big G
People have been crashing Ferraris for decades because they have driven beyond their limits. Nothing new here.
One piece of note. Your bikes, your 720s Spider, and your SF90 have all been world record + level quick. Didn't your 720S spider trap 118 in the 1/8 and 150 in the 1/4 mile? Much quicker than any other I've seen, ever.... I'm not accusing you of anything. Perhaps you live in a slight time warp where things move a little slower relative to your cars. However, just think it's worth noting for all those here who may not have context.
... perhaps its years of experience in getting the most out of my toys? ... but you are correct my SF90, 720s Spider and H2 are all overachievers .... it takes planning and hard work to achieve these results, i assure you its not luck!
or a slight tune? How exactly does one pick up 5-6 mph over every other owner in a straight line through “planning”? your 720S spider had better rolling times than dragtimes 765, if I remember correctly. And you claimed the calculated HP for your car based on it’s performance was 925 HP, or something to that effect. Stock.
I would never tune an exotic. 'Good' planning. I provided the results of inputting data into a mathematical formula.,,,, don't be mad at the messenger.
Drag times SF90 - weight - 2 gallon gas - 3938 lbs 13 gallons x 6.2 lbs - 79.3 lbs My fat ass - 200 lbs 4217 lbs total 1104.58 HP Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think video linked GPS would be beneficial in these types of instances. Or perhaps not, I'm just saying.
Yes, Renntech R3 1066HP AMG GT Black Series .... she should be finished later this week, after six month wait for parts / installation! .... by Exotic i mean Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren.
Cool.......... for a bit.............. but a 400 hp civic would be more raw and fun. just like a tesla plaid, **** gets boring real quick.
This is pretty nuanced but 8 seconds too is quick. The 296/765/sf90 acceleration rates are, for me, as crazy in a good way as it gets. Any quicker and it's uncomfortable. The Lucid, these new electric hypercars. They're too quick. 4.7-5 seconds is perfect for a hyper car from 60-130. Doesn't need to be any quicker.
