September 17 Collinsville, IL Italian Fest Parade

The Missouri & Southern Illinois FCA Chapter has been invited to participate in the Italian Fest Parade on September 17 in Collinsville, IL. The invitation from the organizers is expanded to include all Italian cars so anyone with a Ferrari (club & non-club member), Maserati, Lambo, Alfa, vintage Fiat, and etceterinis are also encouraged to participate.

Free - just show up with the car.

Get the car there by 3:00 pm - parade starts at 4:00 pm.

Congregation point is on North Guernsey St. between Main and Clay. Enter from Clay since Main will be closed for the parade.

Come on out anyway. There ought to be someone with a spare seat amongst the group. Remember the parade is open to all Italian cars and should have some Ducatis too.

Trying to figure out a place for everyone to head to afterwards for food and libation. Thinking of Erato in Edwardsville or Porter's at I-255 and I-55/70.

Did not go back to Africa. Am headed to LA for a settlement meeting from an old Thailand project.

Forgot to take the camera. We were the only Italian car other than the 3 Fiat 500s from the local dealer. None of the Italian motorcycles showed up either.
