She's purty! I can assure you that she will have a good home here but I will have to convince my wife a little. I will let you know but don't hold your breath. She is a tough one.

I can't *believe* the price you're asking for this.... If I *only* had more garage space!

His asking price is extremely reasonable and I have no idea why it isn't sold yet. C'mon people, someone buy this guy's car and give a Mondial a home!

I have been on the hunt for a Mondial for a while, looking mostly for a 3.2 coupe. However, the right 8 or QV might tempt me as well. 308GT4....what are the major issues left to repair on your car, and would you mind posting some more pictures, along with some interior shots? It is a car I would definately be interested in.

I remember your car from ebay a while back, and the following discussion on fchat about it being a parts car at best. BIG CONGRATULATIONS to you for stepping up to the plate and saving it!! I hate to see so many of these perfectly repairable Ferraris deemed worthy of being no more than a parts car, just becasue one couldn't restore it to 100% showroom new and still sell it at a profit. I have dabbled around with a lot of different makes of cars in my time, and I do believe Ferraris are about the only ones where the general rule of thumb seems to be to refuse to fix them and part them out if the restoration can not be financially profitable. Most other cars get restored because the owner loves the car and the marque, knowing full well going into it that he will likely spend more than the car is "worth". I've seen rusting hulks with no engines and missing half the parts be restored simply because the owner loves old Austin-Healeys, MG's, Vettes, Mustangs, BMW's, Porsches, Novas, 'Cudas, or whatever. Then I see a Ferrari with a damaged bumper, a bent wheel, two tears in the seat, and overdue for cam belts deemed a "parts car" becasue it costs more to fix than the car is "worth". I am of the opinion that if ANY rusting hulk of a car is worth saving it should be a Ferrari.

Ok, rant over! I'd love to see some more pics and info on your car when you get the chance!

Please do not use the main forum to sell your car. Use FerrariAds.com. SoftwareGuy DID announce the sale and point to FerrariAds, and there was a delay while he was getting subscribed, but now there is a lot more details and pictures here in his initial post than belongs. We're a little more flexible with subscribers, and I'm just closing this thread rather than deleting it... if you're interested in the car, contact SoftwareGuy directly.
