Good Luck Ronnie.
if you liked the sl benz you will GUSH over the Ferrari. I'm more curious what you are looking to replace it with?
Ronnie, it is a little known secret that gold rims go perfectly on Ferraris, too. Trust me. I know this for a fact.
You'll also need to join FCA-RM and find your spot at the counter next to Sherpa23 at the FoD service counter. He's a vet there so you'll need to negotiate the leaning space in front of Andy's desk.
In all seriousness, the FCA annual membership cost was paid back many times over when I got the discount on service at FoD. It's like when your wife or girlfriend buys a dress and justifies it by saying, "It was on sale so think of all the money I saved!" -F
Umm, mentioning my name is a sure fire way to get 20% added to the price, Ronnie. That is, UNLESS you have gold wheels!
Ronnie - hope the sale went smoothly. I am sure the new owner will be very happy. I happen to know of a well cared for, beautiful, red 2011 458, with low miles at FoD that would suit you well. However, no gold wheels, but I am sure you can work something out with Derek. Live large my friend.
Unfortunately, my SL55 is still for sale, the deal fell through even after the prospective buyer spent about $1000 total, for PPI and flew here to check out the car (tickets, hotel, parking etc). He loves the car, the exterior, the interior, the power but he doesn't really like the tranny. He said it's not "crisp" enough, he's comparing the SL55 auto tranny to a single clutch like BMW smg or newer Aston single-clutch (which shouldn't be compared since SL55 has basically an automatic with torque converter). And he's buying the car for mountain driving. So the car is back on the market. I don't really need to sell the car first before I buy the Ferrari as long as it's within my budget Here's his explanation on my for-sale thread on 6speedonline forum: FS: Nicely MODDED Red Mercedes SL55 AMG | RADBNZ - Page 2 - 6speedonline.com Forums Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeah, he flew here to check out the car. He told me his 512BB-Norwood TT will be one of the fastest Ferraris? I don't know much about that car.
The car was sold last month btw (late Feb). Here are last pics I took of her, the car is now in Los Angeles area: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
