I was at the auction in Milwaukee where the Enzo with 1,100 miles sold for $1,280 mil, seemed a bit high, thoughts?

i was there and every car was high, I Bid on the Ford GT up to $154,500 $10,000 more than i wanted and it sold for $155,000 I glad i missed it. you can get wrapped up in the moment. The guy that bought the Enzo thought he stole it so maybe the market is up. I was going to bring My F355 for a price check but the weather sucked. im trying to upload the Vid of the sale now.

Was the engine seized from only being driven 1100 miles from new? :p:p

seized, as in taken by the government.

How come the Enzo and the Ford GT are not showing up in the post sales results?

that's interesting... I swore I looked at it in the pre-sale inventory. Maybe I was on ove.com. Regardless, does seem a little high... Any idea where the seized f50 and f40 went?

Three years ago, it would have been closer to 1.4. The market for lower miles is still strong, I see. If I bought it, I'd have all the high pressure lines thurougly checked immediately.

Price is "about right" IMO.....given the 'auction frenzy' environment.
Any given day "that the market" as the saying goes...

I agree it needs to go straight into Service, unless the new owner just wants to put it back up on a pedestal and look at it...

    Some do......

Good thing it's out of the Feds hands, thay are not very good drivers....LOL!

I might be missing something but, the idea of a guy speaking fast and hustling me to bid quickly, the audience applauding as the price goes up and thousands of dollars leave my pocket seems like a ridiculous way to make a million dollar purchase. If you have those sorts of resources I would think you could find what you want without the NY hustle...

True enough, but mothballed Enzos only pop up every so often......you have to go to the mountain...it won't come to you.

This car is up again for sale at Manhattan Motorcars. Does anyone know what they are asking for it? Looks like it was just listed this past september.

Wow! No wonder it has not sold. At that price they are just using it to attract attention to the dealership and have no intention to actually sell the vehicle

Have seen this tactic used to try and sell $20K cars and I am sure everything else in-between.

Wouldn't surprise me given their location.
Went by there at night back in March and not only did it seem sketchy to just have a Bugatti among others behind thin glass, but the roads around the dealer SUCK and I wasn't even driving my low car.
