    I found the following shop that offer repair services of seat belts, etc and so they may be worth a call. I was looking around for shops to re-web my belts, as my belts are severely Sun damaged and did not wish to take any risks with them:

    I sent my seat belts off to have the webbing replaced & my retracter mechanisms failed their testing & had to be replaced as they could not be repaired.

    I would suggest sending them to someone that specialises in repairing seatbelts to see if they are repairable or not.

    Small world. The "Seatbelt solutions" business is just a few minutes from my childhood home. I now live in Nashville but still try to make it back once a year. Al, are you in Perth?
