I’ve been meaning to post this for a number of months. I want to give the strongest compliments and highest recommendation to Tony Deremigio at Scuderia Performante and Rick Mullin at Richard Mullin Coachbuilding, both located in Malvern, PA. Tony and his partner Anthony at Scuderia Performante are two of the very finest Ferrari technician/experts in the country, and Rick at Richard Mullin Coachbuilding does absolutely incredible body and cosmetic work.

I purchased an exceptional 1989 328 GTB back in August, 2017. As excellent as the car was (two time Platino winner at the Cavallino Classic), I wanted every detail of the car to meet original factory specifications. The first thing I did was have the car transported to Tony where he went through every mechanical nut and bolt. Whatever wasn’t correct, he fixed it. He’s an expert on every detail of virtually every Ferrari model so he knew how to address even the most minor detail. When his work was complete the car went next door to Rick Mullin who did an amazing job correcting a few of the small cosmetic details my car needed addressing.

I write this thread because we all know that finding experts that we trust and that are fair is never easy to come by in this hobby. I don’t live near Philadelphia yet I choose to send my cars to them because of the exceptional work they do. Also, I’m a very difficult customer (admittedly). I have a strong passion for originality and perfection, and both gentlemen appreciated that I wanted to be involved with every detail. They not only did their work but they educated me as well.

My 328 left their capable hands and I then entered it at the Cavallino Classic back in January, winning a very strong Platino award for the third time. Lastly, I want to add that I recently purchase a beautiful 1999 355 F1 Berlinetta. The first thing I did was have it transported to Tony and Rick to sort out the few minor details the car has to be better than the day it left the factory.

I believe in giving strong kudos where it is deserved. I recommend both Scuderia Performante and Richard Mullin Coachbuilding highly and without any reservation. It is my pleasure to write this thread.

Tony and Anthony are master Ferrari mechanics. Us PA/NJ guys are very lucky to have them so close. They are fair, honest and will take all the time needed just to go over your car and show you things you might not even know about. I sing their praises to others whenever I can.
As far as Richard Mullen.....This man is one of the last craftsman and coachbuilder you will ever meet. His work will leave you speechless. I always visit him whenever I go to SP.
Very friendly man that shows me what he has done on the cars since I last paid a visit. I would post pics of his amazing work but he asked I dont post anything online and when I heard him say that I didnt even want to take pics for myself.

When my car won Platino at the Cavallino Classic in January I truly considered it a team accomplishment between myself, Tony and Rick.

I trailer my Dino all the way from upstate New York to Scuderia Performante for service. They're the perfect combination of modern factory training with old world shop values. I really appreciate honest assessments when it comes to servicing classics, and Tony always gives me the pros and cons of various service or repairs. Even if we CAN afford to leave a blank check on their desk, I think most Ferrari owners want to know they are spending their money wisely and well. That's why we have a little disposable income in the first place. I've never left there feeling like I was pressure or talked into something - and that means the world to me as a customer. I should mention to that I put gobs of mile on my car in the past year and it started with the first turn of the key every time.

Agreed. I live in Washington, DC. Yes, there are a few shops in this area (and nearby Baltimore). They may be good, they may not be (I know some stories). But, I still truck my cars three hours to Scuderia. When I take my car there for anything, and IF Tony contacts me with the "so, we found something" call, I know I can believe him. If I took my car to others that are closer, one I can say very affirmatively, I would expect a call that I can't trust (and it would be a pricey one). Plus, Scuderia are the best at what they do.
