Have seen some of their work here in Australia. Look like good stuff Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Almost certainly adhesive. :NINJA EDIT: I stand corrected. Looks like it uses original hardware to attach to the vehicle. https://www.scrapearmor.com/collections/ferrari/products/scrape-armor-bumper-protection-ferrari-f8-tributo
I inquired about this shield for my inbound GTS was told by service that they have to drill holes in order to install. So, I decided to use slip lo which comes with double sided tape. https://sliplo.shop/
I went with SlipLO. Very elegant, simple and easy solution that only uses adhesive. It is thin and lightweight.
IMO these are the best. No drilling and best coverage https://automodsfl.com/ Image Unavailable, Please Login
Which type would you guys prefer, adhesive or rivet attached? My dealer said they’ll install whichever one I decide to get and I’m still contemplating. There’s obvious advantages and disadvantages to both. Like most people I would rather much not do any drilling but the adhesive type will be difficult to replace if I ever choose to replace it when it gets all scratched up. I much prefer to get skid plates rather than the suspension lifter/adaptive front light system because it’s not only will be obviously cheaper and less complex but the protection to the lower bumper will always be there.
I've got Scrape Armor on my Porsche. As already noted, it uses OEM holes, and I don't recall anything about drilling new holes. Even if it DID require new holes, remember that they'll be underneath the bumper, in the same area that would be more severely damaged by the curbs and driveways, sacrificially protecting those spots and giving a visually clean line to the eye. The front edge joint is sealed with a tiny bead of silicon (and then smoothed) to prevent abrasive road dirt from getting in-between the guard and the bumper. Adhesive tapes WILL fail at some point, and the structure of the guard will very possibly take still-adhered paint with it.
They were supposed to get back to me when it was released. Never did. Thanks for update! Definitely recommend. It is plug and play
