The problem with "high bids" under the reserve is that they are often not real. The auction houses can and do use fake bids below reserve to try to get the bidding into reserve territory. It's still interesting to see what the high bid was, but it may not mean much.
Thanks for the explanation. I use anamera too. I am going indeed to Retromobile, going to miss RM (cant free myself early enough) but Artcurial and Bonhams are a go.
The silver car went for $ 374,000 but does anyone know what the dark blue almost black car went for or the R & S car ?
