We're going to miss yOur participation on here as well. With Der Kaiser gone, I really don't see much contribution from you.... Kevin PS - why have you changed this response 3 times in the last 5 minutes?
Just for the record (as it is now water under the bridge): http://www.motorsport-aktuell.com/automobil/sauber-haben-nie-mit-michael-verhandelt-5821029.html This was not the case. There never was an offer from Sauber.
MS himself has said he had offers from other teams so it doesn't really matter. I see you couldn't resist trying to get a last little dig in there. Not unexpected.
So it's 6 years since his first retirement. What a shame he stopped the first time. This would have been a perfect first retirement for him.
+1 and he would probably be a 9 or 10 time WDC and would surely have over 100 wins. Oh well, it was nice to have Kimi get one.
Botschafter Schumacher will be far too busy travelling the World promoting Mercedes to compete in DTM or WTCC!
Ralf's currently thinking: "Please don't enter DTM!.....Please don't enter DTM!......Please don't enter DTM!" (Saying that, has Ralf got a contract for 2013? )
Oh go on!, give it a go! At least Ralf tries out new methods of getting an advantage over his team-mate!: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbsyh1-d7WE[/ame] Pit-crew bowling! (He nearly picked up the spare as well! - Ouch!!!!) (My apologies for going off topic! - although thinking about it, the thread title doesn't specify which Schumacher's future is determined in six weeks, and this incident may have affected Schumacher's future! )
I'm one of the few on here who actually always liked Ralf (and dislike Michael, maybe I got it backwards?). Met him once even. It's just that DTM has about as much interest to me as NASCAR. What would be a LOT more interesting for MS is a ticket at Le Mans. Winning the 24 hours, what Villeneuve has been trying for years.
Nice enough guy as he was, I always got the impression that he was living off his brothers reputation. As for Michael racing at LeMans (From: Automotive News -- July 10, 2006 http://www.autonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/CW/20060710/FREE/60703022/1111 ): Q: Youve said you probably wont race professionally in another series after you retire from F1, but would you like to have another run at Le Mans (Schumacher raced there in 1991 for Sauber-Mercedes)? Schumacher: "That was a big thing at the time and I really enjoyed it, really, and I was thinking that might be one thing I would want to do. But with the safety standards we have set up in Formula Oneand thats the only standards I would be happy withI cant see that. Le Mans is still too dangerous." I suspect his opinion on LeMans is still the same so I can't see it happening. (There again, You never know with racing drivers! )
MS stated that he will not return to F1, not even to the pitwall: http://www.speedweek.ch/Formel1/news/29086/Schumi-Sicher-nicht-Teamchef.html Eine Rückkehr zum Motorradsport hat Michael Schumacher schon ausgeschlossen, auch ein Wechsel an die Boxenmauer steht ausser Frage. Translation: MS has already excluded a return to motor sports, now he also excluded a switch to the pitwall. Looks like he'll be riding horses with Schnuckipuh.
+ a million Imagine if he'd be racing at ALMS! Just look at all the has-beens and never-weres who win Le Mans, he'd be winning the 24 hours and then some.
