never buy without asking an expert: who is the guy that paid 7,575 USD for a 348 luggage set? I have two, make some offer please... https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/26618/lot/82/ Image Unavailable, Please Login
I hope the buyer realized he won a set of luggage for a 348. Either way, he’d have a strong argument that Bonham's misrepresented the listing. Makes for a nice high watermark price for 348 five piece sets though.
Yes, but once you paid, having back your money is not very easy: always better knowing in advance what are you bidding on... ciao
Albert- I am new to Ferrari and the thread. Apologies if this is a silly question but Do you know which colors Schedoni made the luggage for the California? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Just made it back to this thread after a break, congratulations on the publication of your book! Please let me know when you publish in English, I would be interested. I am so saddened by the one size fits all luggage that Ferrari is now selling for their cars. I ordered the luggage for my 430 in blu medio to match the interior accents and was hoping to do the same for the bordeaux and sabbia interior I'm contemplating for my Portofino M on order. I guess I will end up getting the car without the factory luggage........ do you know if it would be possible to go directly to Schedoni to have a set made?
Congratulations Alberto on your upcoming Schedoni book in English. Please keep us posted on the progress, would love to see some updated as they occur.
I just bought the crema set that was sale here bc I could only find black or crema sets in the marketplace. My California interior is tan and would have preferred that. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Thank you, Brett. You are not the only one to be disappointed by the new "standard" luggage Ferrari is selling now. I have to say that It's a top level luggage, hi tech and very light (I got it in my hands several times), but in my opinion it was a very bad idea to abandon the "single model bespoke set" set as it was before. Rumors say it was a Marchionne idea. In my book "Ferrari by Schedoni" there is a chapter about this: its title is "2019 turning point". Schedoni usually hasn't the time to produce a single bespoke set for any car, but even when (rarely) they have some time available, they cannot produce any luggage with the prancing horse on them, of course: so it would be unbranded. ciao
Thank you both. The English edition of Ferrari by Schedoni is at the final translation check. It has been fully rewritten and edited with brand new professional DTP layout. A new (very nice, in my opinion) chapter has been added and also two new interviews. The English edition size will be different and bigger: 24 x 28 cm (actual Italian one is 21 x 29,7 cm). The editor still is Artestampa in Modena: a book 100% "Made in Modena". We are awaiting for Ferrari green light (we asked them, as it's an high-end edition): it will be a limited edition printed in 141 numbered copies only, with a Schedoni leather cover. All the copies will be signed by Mr. Simone Schedoni, the actual Schedoni firm CEO. And also by me, of course. Mr Simone himslef asked to have 141 copies only: one for each year since 1880, the year when Schedoni business started. Price still is unknown, but it won't be cheap. The book official launch had to be on July 1st, at Modena's Motor valley fest: https://motorvalley.it/en/motorvalleyfest-2/ But due to Covid problems very likely it will be delayed at the end of July or something like that: let's see. If anyone wants to book a copy in advance (and maybe likes to have a particular copy number), please contact me at the email adress [email protected] or through a PM here. Thank you for the update my friend. You know it will sit proudly next to your other book on my shelf. Thank you also for reserving one of the special numbers we discussed too. Good luck with the book launch. Cheers to all.
now it's official: the English edition has been delayed to the end of July. Meanwhile, here you are the official preview of the standard English edition, 24 x 28 cm, softcover: same size and materials of "Inside the Scuderia", same Editor. Tag price: Euro 68. ciao https://www.artestampaedizioni.it/prodotto/ferrari-by-schedoni-a-long-ride-on-the-prancing-horse/ Image Unavailable, Please Login

I've been following this thread for awhile now. What amazing history. Had a chance to tour Schedoni factory back in 2018 when we were touring the Ferrari factory in Maranello but we ran out of time for the Schedoni tour. I'm been looking for a set for my US 85 QV for sometime and finally found a set that I can afford. It's a European version and all bags will stick out about 1.5 inches above the zipper line. I manage to make them fit by arranging them horizontally. Overall I am supper happy with the set. It doesn't look pretty like the picture in the factory brochure but I am able to transport them wherever I need to.
