Glad y'all enjoyed it! I had a great time when not running all over but it also brings me enjoyment to see that the effort resulted in a good time for everyone who came. Thanks to all of you who attended.

But...I seemed to be too busy to take any pics so please keep them coming!

We drove by, but they weren't open yet. :(

Probably a good thing... we WAY overloaded on chocolate from Kilwins. Luca's a funny little kid: during the event he was hard pressed to say a single word to any of the other folks there. But in the car, with me alone, he talks up a storm. This morning, he already asked (really... on his own accord) when the next event will be!

I told him we'll go to the Toy Drive in December with Triangle Italians.

From the photo’s it looks like you all had a great time! I am not sure where the tunnel is though? One neat thing about the Gideon Ridge Inn is that it has a WWII bomb shelter in it. The Cone family originally built the house and supposedly from Kin they were very concerned about the Nazi’s because of their being Jewish. So that is why there is a bomb shelter in the house. When I was a kid there were cans of food and all kinds of stuff down there from the 40’s.
Speaking of not growing up Saturday I got a speeding ticket so you are right some of us never grow up!
Does anyone here follow F1, if so my condolences for a tough season. I am very interested in US F1 in 2010. It will be hard not pulling for a team out of Charlotte. It is a bit like going to one college then having your kids go to another. Thanks for showing your photo’s.
