My wife just heard this on the news, and the Clemson website confirms it, our very dear friend Coach I.M. Ibrahim passed away today. He collapsed while playing golf. There is nothing more that I can say at this moment other than the Ferrari (and Clemson) community has suffered a great loss, and we have all lost a great friend. Please direct your prayers to Julie and the family. Image Unavailable, Please Login
My God. He was one of the best of us. One of the best of humanity He may have been one of the nicest men I have met in the Ferrari Community. And I would only have met him most likely because of the F348. And that alone was worth the purchase price of the car. He was amazingly generous. He never, ever, wanted anyone to know about his incredible generosity it seems. A sure measure of his incredible love and honor. Since it can not matter now, when I went to war he told me via PM to come home safe and once back to take my pick of his collection and he would bring it to the next rally so I could drive it. While I was in Iraq, I sent Coach a box of Cubans I picked up on a trip to Dubai. He sent me SIX BOXES of Fuenties (My Fav!) back to me in one package. He told me never to tell anyone... and then continued to send regular boxes for the remainder of my time there. You are lucky if you meet just one person like Coach I in you're life time. I am lucky, and proud, that I can say that I not only met him but that I considered him my friend. "He was a man, take him for all in all. I shall not look upon his like again." Hamlet
