Im so excited about tomorrow, but I can't seem to get an info about the sign up protocol for the actual drive. Do we just show up and figure it out? I downloaded the waiver form, do I just arrive with it? Who do I give it to?
Please let me know.

As far as I know, show up with the waiver some one will collect it upon arrival. try to get there at 7, 730 latest I think, due to drive at 8. This is the chat and is mostly what im gonna do. Hope im right!..

When you pull into the lot someone will collect the waiver. The first caravan will leave from the VCR around 7:15 and should arrive before 8:00. The caravan will collect the cars at Pierce and continue on with the 6 mile escorted drive. This is the plan but you know how things go?

 

It said somewhere that the drive started at 8:30.... And that's when I planned on getting there, will I miss the drive if I get there at that time?

 

Im a little confused. What is VCR and where is it? Also, isn't it a 13 mile drive? Anyhow, I'll probably just show up at Pierce around 7:30.

I hope that all of the cars that are coming to the event and fill out the waiver donate some cash. I think there is no charge or donation required but I think if you are there with your car and are required to fill out a waiver the least you could do is make a donation at that time! I know in the past there has been a number of people that show up for a event, sell or promote there stuff and don't give a dime to the event. Dusty and lots of other people bust there a** for these events and more could be raised. You know who you are out there. STEP UP!!!!! For all the other people that always give, GOOD JOB.

 

What a great event Dusty. Congrats, it was a huge success! I'll be anxious to see how much was raised!

 

Thank you Dusty, for your amazing energy and dedication to helping all forms of life - and today, honoring and assisting the families of servants injured and lost in the wars on our own city streets.

As we drove our Memorial parade, the Police stationed at every light and corner had that "knowing smile of appreciation" and I was proud to be a part of it all. It was about them and I'm sure they realized that we represented the cheers and thanks directed at them.

As for you, my friend, one day your name will be on a ballot and the "X" will fall in the box next to that name. Your service record speaks for itself.

On the light side, it was great to see old friends and be able to connect some new faces with names I already know. And great food goodies & PINKS too !
