Which brings me to a mild rant about racing TV coverage, especially the Indy 500: I loathe "back stories". Waaayyy too much of that in the pre-game on ABC. The victory circle celebration is overdone. Wives, kids, grandmothers . . . But it's the inane, questions the interviewers routinely ask that drive me up a wall. "How great is this feeling". Excuse me for being assumptive but it's understood that it's great. Tell me about a close-call in the pits, or fuel strategy, etc. But don't ask STUPID questions. Thank you and have a nice day.
