    0000 Steel Wool, but protect the rest of the part from small fibers that come off. Won't hurt the surface you're cleaning as bad as sandpaper (even 600 grit). But if that is a bearing, really tape it off and protect it.

    I even try tar and sap remover but did not have adhesive remover to try, will try tomorrow
