Looking at NJ track maps, appears to be two possible chicanes. The one video I watched they missed the first one after turn 1, but used the chicane on back straight. Do you know the configuration for us? thanks.

    Hey Rob,

It'll almost certainly be the current GrandAm configuation like you saw in the video, without the T1 chicane, but with the T3 chicane.

The track has good visibility, and you'll pick it up quickly.

I won't be there Thursday, but I'll be there Friday morning.

    See you then,

    Mark

Anyone know which configuration will be used at Homestead? Or is there only one? Thanks.

    Will,

    Homestead is harder to say.

FNA-'FerrariChallenge' runs the configuration without NASCAR3&4; coming back into the infield for a chicane off of the back straight just before NASCAR 3 , then coming back onto the front straight just after NASCAR 4.

I've raced 355 with another group that used NASCAR3&4, like GrandAm. This gives you a lot more speed into T1.

Rob, NJMP will definitely be ran with the chicane at T3. They ran the race in 2009 without a chicane and the DP cars were getting air cresting the hill on the back straight. So the next year they added the chicane to the race.

NJMP isn't too tough of a track to figure out but if you need any help let me know as I will be there all weekend with BimmerWorld running the #79 GS M3. Shoot me an email or call me at 678.667.1577
