    Hey all,

    I am curious about forum thoughts on the color for an 812. Seems dark, not sure how it fits the character of the car.
    Also, thoughts on black vs standard exhaust tips.

    I think it looks amazing when the sun is out. It looks a tad too dark for me under cast weather.

    I personally like the darker reds (e.g. Rosso Fiorano) more than the lighter reds (e.g. Rosso Scuderia, Rosso Corsa) on 812SFs. Beautiful car @500drvr (and @isuk?)!

    Fiorano has a lot of orange in it compared to some red 3-layers. As for exhaust tips, the black ones get lost in the black trim/mesh.

    Iain, When was that Top555 car advertised? How much were they asking for it. I nearly bought an 812SF from them.

    It was on with them in late April last year I think. I can't remember the asking price but recall it sold within a couple of days.

    Take a look at Rosso California if you're looking for a nice darker metallic red. I saw an F12 and a Roma painted this colour at an owners club meeting this year and both cars were absolutely stunning.

    My former 458 in Rosso Fiorano. In this case the sun is not hitting it directly, so it shows its darker shade. For me that's one of the best special red Ferrari colors without question. It will look amazing on a 812.
