Hello fellas. What is the opinion on Rosso Dino 458. In pictures don't really show unless next to rossa corsa. Is it a flat orange or does it have metallic flake in the paint.
I thought Rosso Dino was a very orange red and easily distinguished? Much more orange than Rosso Scuderia which itself is more orange than Rosso Corsa. I believe it is a flat colour as it is an old heritage colour.
I think Russel996 is exactly right. Rosso Dino is a difficult colour to sell though. I remember seeing one in the UK from a member of one forum or another. He spoke about the car which was highly spec'd but he wanted to move on to make way for another. It was virtually brand new and took a long time to sell. On the other hand, when I went to the Atelier last, I saw some RD TDFs on the line. Anna from the Atelier told me she had recommended the colour for that car many times - it just suits it. I was a little sceptical but shouldn't have been (she knows exactly what she is doing) and the car did indeed look utterly fantastic.
Its very orange compared to rosso scuderia. No metallic flake. It is usually hard to sell hence the price should reflect that. You have to see it in person to see if you really like that color.
a year ago I stood beside a rosso dino F12, and I still can't get my head around what I think of it,,
here is my Rosso Dino up to my rosso fuoco.. not the best picture but hopefully it helps, RD is a historic color and has no flake. People love it in person, no idea how their wallets will respond if I ever decide to sell the speciale..... So its a bad deal when u ready to sell and move on. I think the dealer have been sitting on this for a while. I'm thinking to fly out to look...i m debating if its priced right. But my other question is this color a rare color...and had a cost to order. Thanks for your input .
Correct the RD car has no stripes. It is rare/expensive option, doesnt photograph terribly well but in person is a complete show stopper. I really love the color.
Rosso Dino is a solid orange - no metal in it. As for not really showing next to RC? I somehow think you mistake it for Rosso Scuderia. It's an orange red that on pics can look a bit like RC. However, Rosso Dino is orange and looks nothing like RC. First pic is Dino Second is Scuderia Third is Corsa Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Ferrari of Ft lauderdale had one a while ago. I went and looked at it. I love this color and will have a Fcar in RD. It's rare because most people are skeptical of it's resale I would imagine. Like any rare color, there is a buyer for everything. It might just take longer to find one.
I was looking at a RD earlier this year, I recently saw it for sale again. MSRP of ~330k, had orange stripes on the seats etc... It was cool, I love orange. I was kicking tires at the local Ferrari dealer and mentioned that I saw an orange 458, hd said he'd never seen one... We looked at the color samples and he was shocked when we when I showed him the RD, even more shocked when I found a leather sample. It was listed for ~250k earlier this year, from the Toy Barn. He said he would offer ~210 for the car, resale would be extremely difficult... my 2 cents. I love it.
