Older 360 headliner material has become puffy/sagging/ falling on my head. Has anyone here experienced this?
I did a search but nothing came up. How to remove trim panels to get to the headliner board?
    TIA

haven't done it yet but as I understand it you start at the front and work backwards with the panels.. then remove liner and spray with adhesive or I'd even consider leather..

I had exactly the same problem a couple of months ago. The entire headliner fell down while I was driving and it was puffy and sagging before it fell. I tried to apply to spray adhesive to the liner, but that did not work.

I took the car to an upholstry shop nearby that has a good reputation and works on exotics ... they examined the foam substrate on the headliner and rubbed a bit of the old, degraded foam off. They applied a base of adhesive backed foam to the bare metal roof and with a minimum of work, they applied some adhesive to the the back of the headliner and fixed it in place. The total cost for me was $175 ... looks better than new. My advice, take it it to a pro shop and have them do it.

It is advisable to have a pro do this. Headliners are not as easy as they look. It would suck to have a headliner fall down in my F-Car but if it did I would seriously consider re-doing it with leather, if for nothing else than to get some fresh leather smell.

Is it possible to post up some pics?

I experienced this last summer. I was driving and felt something against my head, and lo and behold, the picture below shows the problem.

From the picture, you can see the foam has disintegrated. It was a mess to clean the foam off of the roof and the liner. I finally had a pro reinstall the leather headliner after realizing I wanted the job done correctly.

I have attached a link on how to disassemble the pieces that hold the liner in place.
