I'm single, so the back seats of a 2+2 are usually used to keep a guitar in the AC, or something like that. I may still get a 612, but I'd probably be better off with the Roma.
Every damn car is degined by the windtunnel. They will all end up looking the same. There is only 1 shape a wind tunnel can produce the is perfectly aerodynamic..and that is the "teardrop"..
Great design! A bit vintage, looking to the 47- years old 1972 Opel GT. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That is definitely my favorite mass production Ferrari design since the 360/550. As a professional designer I find it interesting to see how non-designers perceive it. Many of the comparisons I see being made dont hold any water other than being a 2 seat FE coupe.
What’s the point on the public road of going to 62mph in 3,5 in stead of 4(,5) seconds?! (drove a 430 Scuderia and more recently a Huracan on the public road... it was fun... but way too fast for the public road (430 Scuderia was amazing on the circuit... but that’s not the habitat of the Portofino)) Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met FerrariChat
wash your mouth out..... why not 3 seconds to 60? Hahaha. It seems crazy, but winning the traffic light Grand Prix is extremely important to me, even more the ability to out-accelerate the guy that wants to try to hang you out to dry on the outside when two lanes merge to one.... every tenth of a second is important far as I’m concerned, I drive mine like I stole them.
I like it. The profile has elements that mimic the Daytona, especially at the front. Its intended to be less intimidating than other current models and sell in higher numbers. LIke the new SUV this will add volume to help support racing and new specials. We had the same discussion on rennlist regarding the Cayenne, Panamera, ad nauseum. So why I would rather drive a mid engine car I can see the business case. That plus it looks really good. Competitors would include Aston as mentioned before, but also Bentley, Mercedes, and the Panamera. No Lambo or McLaren in this segment. Many will be sold to women or for them. Pricing looks competitive too. I think it will be a success and OK for the brand.
In the spirit of the Ford vs. Ferrari movie these days, I just realized that Ferrari might just be producing as many models as Ford these days.
Seriously? To win the traffic light GP of course...... my Ferrari, or any other car for that matter, even the Range, go 0-60 in their minimum time EVERY time there’s no cop around! That’s the fun of owning them!
The Roma is classy and beautiful to my eyes. I hate the interior, but the exterior and engine are fantastic. It reminds me of the 612, which I also love, in that regard.
It's pretty, but mine has been at the dealer with unresolved electrical issues since day after delivery. Disappointed so far
