Last night, drove my Roma which was delivered a month+ ago for a 30 mins ride to a mall, and parked there. 2 hours later when I started the car, this failure message was shown. Tried a few start-stop rounds, and still there. Anyway, drove home carefully. Tried again this morning but not going away. Any fellow owners may have seen this too?

Charge the battery, then try again. Could be that the voltage was low.

hi…was this issue ever resolved? Mine started doing this over the last few days as well. Dealer says it’s an issue with the programming of the gearbox when the car is shifting into 7th gear. Not sure what the resolution is just yet. Dropped it off today.

I eventually dropped the car off with the dealer workshop. As @bb2thdr mentioned, battery issue. Workshop advised me to rev the car higher going forward, use manual rather than auto mode more. I was mostly auto driving the car during its 1st 1000km, staying at 7th/8th gear a lot of times, rev-ing between 1-2k rpm. Apparently this is not good enough to juice up the battery when I am also not daily driving it.

Would keeping the car plugged into the battery tender when not driving also solve the problem?

May be. I don't have this option as the car is parked in a building carpark rather than an individual garage.

I think this may be your problem as F cars are very sensitive to voltage, seem to have huge parasitic battery drain, and to be honest batteries are not the best.

If driving in auto mode and not revving the engine was not good enough to charge the battery as your dealer suggested, there would be a whole host of dead Ferrari littering the roads, I suspect...T

Exactly. That's the best medicine for avoiding Grumpy Ferrari Syndrome!

This just happened to me, 2 days after delivery … any news on a fix? I’ve driven it daily and kept it on a tender in the short time I’ve had it. Dealer reset the error code today, but after a few hours, engine light came back on.
