My order looks to be coming up soon and it will be a 2023. I know the base price went up considerably for 2023 (now ~$243k if I recall) and I was wondering if that includes any options? I believe 2022 increased by a few thousand but CarPlay was then included. I was hoping/wondering if that's the case with the large jump for 2023 pricing? Likewise, would love to know if there are any new options for 2023 or changes to options/equipment. Thanks
Thanks much. Do you know what was new/became standard for 2022 Roma? I believe CarPlay, but is it now wireless? I'm up to speed on 2021 Roma options and standard items but not 2022 or 2023. Thanks
Carplay was added in 2022. It sounds like Carplay is wireless worldwide except the United States where it was removed (hopefully temporarily) due to some kind of issue.
How do you know what model year your car is ? I am picking mine up next week...it was built a few weeks ago.....would that by MY23 then?
You are in the UK which like the rest of the world does not indulge the US fantasy of model years which was created to solely to drive sales frequency (slightly extreme description but hopefully you get my drift) - only NA cars need an extra MY digit in the Vin
Message from my sales agent regarding my inquiry (order placed 11/21/21) on what’s new for Roma and my build slot: Noting has changed, you are still in slot 6, I do anticipate that number will be changing as the next batch will go into production. If you aren’t in the next batch, then you are sure to follow. I would imagine Q1 or Q2 of 2023 should see some movement. Just in time for late spring, my speculative thought. So they increased the price for no reason? when I placed my order at my dealer the base price was something like 227479$ so that means I’m gonna end up paying 15k more when it arrives ♂️
Actually, the base price has increased twice from the time I placed my deposit on 11/2021: from approximately 218K—>227K—> now 238K (just finalized the build yesterday. That does not include the 5K dealer prep, delivery and processing cost![emoji15] Seems like there are now some options: Apple CarPlay, full electric seats and Advanced forward camera come standard. Forward camera is standard now ? Just went in for 2nd deposit today he told me I still gotta pay front camera? or he lied ? Lol
Here is a pic of my build sheet. Was your second deposit required? Just curious. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I went in for another 15k deposit to finalize my order cause he said my allocation is coming up . But That’s weird . He told me I still gotta pay for the front camera . Like 2076$ . He only told me car play is free now. Lol . But there’s no way dealers can lie about this kind stuff right cuz it’s gonna show on the sticker later anyway.
You would think that information could easily be verified! Maybe another poster could chime in. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Some dealers require only one deposit, some require two, some require options be paid up front. For my wife's 2022 Portofino M we paid one deposit on initial order (March 2021). In the 16 month wait the base price went up, but some options became standard. The dealer did not know the final price until the car cleared customs at the Port of New Jersey and was on a truck for delivery. As soon as he got the invoice he sent it to us and we did all the paperwork in advance. The window sticker only gives 14 lines for options, then puts everything else in "OTHER OPTIONS," so it can be difficult to figure out exactly what everything cost using the sticker. We ended up about $12k over initial estimate: Image Unavailable, Please Login
I’ve never ordered a new car before so you have to pay for the car before it arrives is that how they doing it ? And then once the car arrives you just go to the dealership and pick it up then drive home?
We chose to pay for it in advance. Our sales advisor contacted us throughout the ordering process and asked us if we were financing or leasing or whatever. We told him we were planning to pay it off on delivery and not interested in discussing financing or anything else. That arrangement worked great for us, others can obviously choose different approaches. The great part for us was all the paperwork was done in advance and picking up the car was an absolute pleasure:
This is how we do it for ours as well. Once paperwork is done, we have xpel and ceramic coated from the dealership. Just show up to take delivery - visit a while and drive off! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

Hi Patron , congrats on your allocation , , I ordered my roma on 4-2022 , however I've seen many roma's being delivered and allocated in a much shorter period , any reasons behind that elongated period in your case ?
I’m not certain as to why things moved so slowly for my situation. I suspect that since this is my 1st Ferrari purchase, I was not put on “priority” list and probably passed by individuals who had a longer history with the dealership. No problem— I’m an incredibly patient individual[emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Congrats! I’m about 6 months behind you (5/22 deposit), and I’m first time buying too. Hope I get a call by this summer- much later and I may miss the boat so to speak.
