That's a "bad" date for us VCA guys. We've got our annual BBQ event up in South Salem, NY at Tator's Dodge. Too bad since I know a great many of us were looking forward to joining you guys.

5/7 is a longshot for me... after that I'm definitely out until June. First two weekends of June not looking good either... Hmmm.
Here in Great Neck. And looks like it may not rain tommorrow 1) At the time I had to make the decision, it was 100% chance of rain this weekend. 2) Even if it doesn't rain Sunday, it will be a cold, lousy day. 3) No matter what day gets picked, it will be bad for several people.
It started raining out here too a little while ago.... I was just busting on Sam. He's in one of those "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situations, so of course I had to start in. I had a crew out in Jamesport this morning, only a few miles from the winery, and they just came back in all wet. Anyone up for a run tomorrow morning?
It is 5/7. I just have to pick a day that also works for the winery. If I start trying for a consensus, it will be chaos; and then how do I choose who to "leave out?"
Well, from NYC, NOW it's definitely raining HERE. And although I drove earlier today (and would drive now if I had my car with me, and had somewhere to go), I would certainly be among the first to agree that at no point today did an outdoor lunch seem like an appealing idea in this weather. If the winery had a nice dining room with a roaring fireplace on the other hand...
Poured like crazy most of Sat morn and early afternoon by me. Sunday would have been a great rain date. Will be there 5/7.
Nah..too cold anyway. As it turns out, I have maybe 5 people who can't make the 7th, and about 3 on the fence. Then are those who couldn't make the 23rd but can make the 7th.
Agree with Sam...while a "dry slot" behind the main rain band did move in Sunday morning, temps out on the east end never did get out of the high 40s Sunday, which would have made for one raw outing. Looks like rainy every third day or so for the next week and very cool through next week...it may take all the way until May 7 for real run weather to return!
In with '99 F355 Spider for the 7th. Will be starting from Bridgehampton Motoring Club in the A.M. on the 7th. Light breakfast will be served in our Lounge to those starting from the Hamptons who would like to join the run ROW to the ROE. Best, Rob www.bridgemc.com Active Storage for your Important Car
