Haig -- First Class travel all the way man! Here's a shot that Todd sent us this morning. Just a bunch of guys hanging out above turn 1 eating and drinking whatever Ferrari put out on the table. From the left: Arsen (in the baseball cap turned the other way), Mickey, Sam, Todd, me, Monte. Image Unavailable, Please Login
As we left Auto Gallery Friday morning, we stop over to meet up with Ron in Ventura. Ron took the lead and kept his eyes on V-1 and kept everyone out of trouble. Unfortunately, we missed our first stop with Greg and continued north and stopped in just short of our 2nd stop at Madonna Inn. As we pulled up, we had instant welcome by the visitors. We walked in just in time to be seated but unfortunately didn't leave on time to meet the group on the second stop. Sam took the first group but Greg and Monte waited for us. Thank you for being there... Here important pictures. The interesting cave urinal... Below is a compilation video with the stills of the caravan, cars and racing footage from the event. I also have the FF unveiling in the video as well. Please bear in mind that the picture quality took a slight hit after creating the slideshow in Picasa and then editing in the racing segments using Pinnacle Studio. Great weekend!! We just got home this evening and are catching up on all the photos posted here. Lots of great ones! I'd like to second what everyone else has already said, Greg did an amazing job of planning this whole event. This is the first event of this type that Jordan and I participated in. I have a feeling it will be hard to top this one. We really enjoyed meeting everyone. What a nice, fun and interesting group of people. A special thanks to those that helped me celebrate my birthday Saturday. Cheers, Patty

Looks like you guys (and gals) had a wonderful Weekend from your trip up from Socal, Laguna Seca events, and trip back. Wish I could of met some of you, but I only attended on Sunday, when most of you were already driving back to socal. Maybe see some of you back in Monterey/Carmel for Historics/Concours week in August or at the LA FOG Party in September. By the looks of all the pics, it Looks like all enjoyed. We all have this insatiable Ferrari/exotic car addiction in common that make the events worthwhile. However, it is always the relationships and bonds between the people that truly make these "events" special. Well done, Guys!
Slightly off topic: If you had a good time on our Laguna Seca trip, there's something going on next month in the San Fernando Valley that may interest you. Monteman's Santa Barbara Cars & Coffee group is coming to L.A. on Sunday 6/26 to see 2 private car collections: the Breslow Collection in Chatsworth and the Malumut Collection in Calabasas. We may try and squeeze in a visit to Fusion Motorsports and lunch at the greasy spoon diner The Lamplighter somewhere in the trip. Log onto Facebook and subscribe to the Santa Barbara Cars and Coffee page to receive additional information. An invitation/RSVP is required to attend, but there is no fee. First priority goes to any of the guys and ladies who joined us on the Laguna trip.
What a great trip! My brother and I had an awesome time. The Ferrari VIP tickets were good for the whole weekend so we ended up going Sunday as well. It was great to meet some of you and catch up with the others. Greg- thank-you for all the effort in organizing this trip. Bob- thanks for the Cuban. Andre- those pics are great. Looks like you got better tickets than all of us. I hope they came with ear plugs!
Didn't post this on YouTube so the download is a little pokey (go pour a scotch while you wait)... http://www.urgetodrive.com/?p=538
Great music! Where do you keep finding all the foot tapping tunes for your videos? Anyways, my snail powered DSL service only made it through the first half of the video, but I like it!
Yeah, the music is cool huh? It's and oldie but I'm surprised more people haven't heard of it. BTW, the song is the reason I didn't post this vid on YT (I really don't want my channel shutdown). The only music I'll dare put on a video in YT is something from their "AudioSwap" library. If anybody knows of a better way to host the video, please let me know.
Awww, screw it...I posted on YT...it was too painful to try and watch from my host servers. Same link should work: http://www.urgetodrive.com/?p=538
