Um nome bem conhecido por cá e uma perda para o mundo automobilístico ... RIP Obrigado pela informação, Vasco!
SO SORRY TO HEAR THE SAD NEWS OF OUR FRIENDS PASSING and that I had not seen him for so long. there are so many tales I could tell about Louis - who had such a great appetite for life (and for food - when we all gave up eating our curries he would pile up our remains and demolish the lot, when he lived with me he went home for christmas dinner then to his boss Ian macpherson down the road for the 2nds and back for his 3rd where he failed to manage the christmas pudim ) A few facts which I could correct the E type 4.2 driver said to Louis in the jag sprite "you're all noise sonny boy" and they left the traffic lights as you would expect. The alloy jag engined sprite had a sebring nose lotus elite rear suspension with the rubber ball joints replaced with rose joints as they tore out with the power. louis fitted a weslake head to the engine and the trip to collect it is one of the journeys with louis I will not forget, The mike vernon ferrari collection was not ever at prestwich although the odd car did visit. see attached photos 625 total rebuild & at silverstone - love to all his best friends family and relatives Geo Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The collection was in the uk and Louis is shown working on the cars with his assistant Alan Vandersloot - I attach the photos from Silverstone I have many more photos of Louis lorenzini and the cars he prepared and we took racing and perhaps I should publish some more. I am still feeling sad about this, but if there is the wish for more then I may add some. Send a private message if anybody close wishes to Regards Geoff Image Unavailable, Please Login
