On my 2006 F430 Spider, during my rim dismount for the RE11 tire installation, my 5 year old son (Enzo) was "helping" to roll the rims to the truck to take them to the tire shop. He accidentally let a front wheel fall flat on its face in the driveway. The paint is very damaged.

I want to refinish it myself, but after an hour of searching I can not locate the color code for the silver rim paint (wheel paint).

If I can get the paint color code I will prepare and post a DIY to refinish F430 silver wheels.

Without a color code I will need to buy a lot of paint and try and find one that matches best.

Thanks in advance for any help and for not telling me to use the search feature ;)

I thought the silver wheel colour was Argento Nurburgring (101C). I'm sure someone will confirm or dispell!.....M

Trent, give Dave at FoCentFL a call. He should be able to give you the proper response.

That is true. However, Dupli-Color NG GM 508 (Ultra silver for 95/96 GM Trucks) is an exact match and much cheaper!

Great info for the F430 wheels.
What about the paint color code for the F430 Scuderia and also for the 16M wheels?

I bought the GM Ultra Silver tonight, pretty good match on the starfish wheel, have to see what it looks like in the sunlight. I don't know if you have curbing damage but curious how that can be fixed, I've read you can apply JB weld and sand it before painting? Look forward to your restoration project, I may pay my wheel guy the $200 to make it perfect if it still bugs me.

The PPG color code for the wheels is 36520, variously called Argento Metallic and Argento Nurburgring, same color and code. Info from FNA. Has been used for a long time by Ferrari on wheels. 101/C is the old designation from earlier paint types.
