His family is Mike Roddy Jaguar specialist, there is a V12 connection...but no,I did not ask him why. It'll come out in the wash,I'm sure,.
Yep, I saw the Jag connection there in some of his Facebook pics. V12 Ferrari, V12 Jag............fair enough. Perhaps a fan of old V12s. Thanks for posting mate.

Between the blue one in the first of 2 links immediately above this post, to the Jagger blue one having come to market, to now this 1984 RHD offered by Rardley Motors in the UK: 1984 Ferrari 400i Automatic. Series 2 Despite the thoughtful description leading up to its 35KGBP asking price, no chassis number is provided... Prices seem to be dipping a bit in the UK, perhaps because some of the heat has come out of the collector car market in the last year or so. I've got to say that the light blue 'Azzurro Metallizzato' (?) looks a beautiful color. Wrong or right, the 400 series seems destined to remain a 'cheap' car, or will prices follow every other car? Do we know the chassis number for this one?
It looks very nice, sold at auction earlier in the year for less than I would have expected. Buy Classic 1984 Ferrari 400i Car's At Auction Rardley also have a very low mileage 412 5 speed for sale, asking £79,990. One of only 24 RHD 5 speeds.

In Aussie... https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Ferrari-400-1977/SSE-AD-4306382 ....and this one at a museum/dealer. https://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/Ferrari-400-1981/OAG-AD-13620505
As we discussed over in the Aussie section, neither of them pristine, and both wildly overpriced. Simon, is the second one from our friend in Gosford?
While it is all very well going back to original build spec - and spending a mini-fortune on doing so, that white leather interior has hardly remained prestine in the 2 or 3 years since refurb esp. the rear seat centrepiece.
This starting price is diametrically opposed to his original asking price of $85K....and it's rusty. Ferrari 400i 1982 | eBay
Phew,$70K plus you get free rust! 1983 Ferrari 400 GTi Manual It's also the very rare manual disguised as an auto.
Just noticed this project car in the UK. It look like most of the expensive restoration work has already been done. Interesting history; originally a Maranello Concessionaires company car and therefore would have been driven by the Colonel himself.
