Retrofit a panoramic roof on a FF or Lusso?

    I’ve been searching for an ideal spec car for a while. The two options I’m searching for are CarPlay and Panoramic Roof.

    Out of curiosity, I was checking the availability of replacement glass for the roof. When the Tesla Model X came out, the windshield had a 6 month wait time.


    As I was studying the online parts catalog and illustrations. It made me wonder IF it’s possible to retrofit a panoramic roof?

    Could it be done using Ferrari parts and without cutting sheet metal and etc.

    I’m sure if you throw enough money at it, you can do almost anything to a car. Just wondering

    Im sure you can do it. At the end, as you say, you can do anything to a car with enough money. But I am certain it is a much better idea to just look for the right car from the get go. To the cost of the modification, you will need to add the potential loss on resale for having a modified car. I believe most Lussos have Carplay and Pano. worst case scenario, get a Lusso with pano but no Carplay, and add Carplay via the dealership. It will cost you 5000USD but you wont end up with a butchered car.
