I like it.

 

If it's squiggly out of corners, has a good amount of audible waste gate, and spits flames...I'll love it. Certainly could be way worse.

 

Could be a lot worse. Is it something halfway official/from a magazine or just some random internet picture?

Another thought: Will McLaren eventually go back to orange?!

 

Hopefully the 2015 car will return to the old McLaren/Honda colors.

Slightly less ugly than the predecessor....and I would love for McLaren to go back to papaya.

 

I don't think those sidepods illustrate the new rules for that area of the car, they're too low, too narrow and too short.

 

Nope, I don't think anyone's will look near that. No way that nose would pass the front crash test.

 

So wait, they cannot paint the car white with one not-so-random casual orange line
at the front and one at the back? Say something like this?

Or we still are forbidden to have a ciguarette sponsor look alike from the old days?
So with that in mind we cannot longer have blue cars because they will hint of Gitanes?

I´d still prefer orange. Or white for Honda. A Marlboro livery would a fake, like the fake JPS Lotus. If they wanted to go "retro", why not green and yellow, the "real" Lotus colors?

 

I wish they would ban the high noses and mandate that they have to have the front end of the 80's cars... they look so much better!

I have nothing useful to add, but yes! OMG yes x1000! I understand the benefit of a high nose but they have become so darn ugly now.

The short span rear wings really made the F1 cars look less aggressive. Hate that!

Also noticed the AGIP instead of Shell.

 

No one prevents cigarette manufactures from sponsoring one car or another. What is prevented is the placements of cigarette advertising on the cars. Without such ad placement, it is a hard cell to the cigarette manufactures.
