Has any one removed the Pininfarina Badge from their F430 ?

    I think they look cheap.

How did you remove ? Any residual issues ?

That would be like removing Picasso's signature from one of his lithographs.

It's stuck on. When I had film installed, the guys at Premier used a heat gun very lightly. Came off cleanly.

Use a hair blow dryer to heat the badge up, then use the dental floss to remove the badge, followed by goo-off of wd40 to remove the adhesive residue.

    Guys

    Thanks for all your help.

Fortunately Picasso used paint in keeping with the quality of his work and didnt sign his lithographs with a plastic signature plate.

You do realize that, if these are indeed genuine shields, that you will have a shield shaped indentation in each of the fenders, right?

They are talking about the disegno pinifarina script on the side of the car, not the Scuderia Shields, which are much more substantial.

I agree about the pinifarina badges being cheap, on Enzo era Ferrari's they where made from metal!

The latest ones on 360/430 are made from fimsy $2 plastic that is cheap and nasty, it should have been etched onto a some aluminium and painted.
