Not sure about your specific question, but if you look in the 550/575 section of this Forum and search for Dave/Stickies, he should be able to either tell you or head you in the right direction. He repairs all that stuff. And is a really good guy.

Definitely still a problem with 458s. My 458 had the problem. Looks like the F8 has hard plastic buttons/controls so it won't have the problem.

Sadly so. Looks horrible on such an expensive car after just 5 years use.

It happens mostly in humid and hot climate states as far as I heard from the dealer.

Switches become sticky in any environment (hot/cold/humid/dry). Some cars will have all of the switches become sticky while others have only a few. My turn signal switches went bad but all the other switches have been fine and my car was in Ohio/Michigan. To get them done right, I woudl send them to Dave at Sticky RX. Great service and the switches are better than new.

My 2015 458 is starting to get slightly sticky. My new 812 doesn't seem to have the rubber coating. It feels more like a smooth plastic.

From my understanding and confirmed by Dave from StickyRx Ferrari is no longer using the “soft touch” process on their new models. All the new cars namely the 812, F8, GTC Lusso and Portofino for example have hard touch coating so no more potential “stickies.”

It’s a joke that such a high end company has let the same problem go on for so many years.
I mean, what has it been since the 348?
