Someone asked me for the part numbers to replace the original Bosch relays which Ferrari used in these cars. The Tyco are a reputable brand, are not the metal can but an adequate plastic enclosure. I've also marked those relays with a mounting bracket which are used for 'slow window' and 'bright headlight' modifications. I personally use WaytekWire.com so it is their catalog page in the photo. Also included are the physical and electrical particulars.

Quite correct (Doug is it?) but the practicality is purchasing the relays. Most of us simply want the original or better relay at a reasonable price and meet the conundrum of learning a proper part number.

Suppliers like WayTekWire do carry an inexpensive upgraded version of what came with the cars and these relays obviously have different Bosch numbers. For those owners wanting the original metal case 30A relays for concourse reasons are encouraged to contact Tyco directly for distributors, thanks for posting their url.

The original Bosch (metal) relays can still be purchased new from a couple different online vendors. Do some driving around on google with those Bosch numbers and you'll find a vendor or two. As I recall, they're something like $10 bucks each, so, more than the $3 buck tyco relays.

I never buy anything made by Tyco. The ex-CEO (Dennis Kozlowski) is a complete scumbag who belongs in prison as somebody's "girlfriend" for the rest of his life.
