    Anyone have any good recommendations for a good air compressor? I need it really just to fill tires and nothing much else. Reasonable price. Im not sure if those really cheap 50 dollar ones can really handle the task of filling up tires and keeping the psi maintained. Any thoughts, thanks.

    I picked up a compact Craftsman from Sears a few years ago. It's oil-lubed so it should last basically forever for the light duty it performs (keeping 12 tires pumped up).

    It's about $100 at Sears when it's on sale. And it's just about always on sale...

    Ellen Fiedler...lots of hot air, cheap, and good at blowing. Doesn't stay on task well though. ;)
