    Hi,
We are currently building a home and the concrete garage pad will be poured very soon. I am looking for recessed floor lighting to put under the lift area (probably 4 lights total). Has anyone bought them recently at a decent price? and were did you get them?

I'm not having much luck finding them. Any leads would be appreciated. We are in NC, but I expect I'll be ordering them online. Thanks

That is really a good idea. It will make working on the car so much easier. For that purpose, | would prefer soft, even light, like fluorescents, rather than spots.

unfortunately all my lighting product info is in the office- I'll look on Monday. Fluorescent strip or high power led is the way to go. Underwater lights rely on the water to reflect the light and are not very high power, but was a good suggestion. You need something to push the light 6'-8'. Most lenses are not engineered to take direct weight or load, so you may opt for a water proof fixture recessed a bit more and provide a ledge that would accept a clear thick acrylic on top of it (removable). Look for outdoor commercial uplighting. (some commercial grade is blindingly bright so look at the foot candles or lumen ratings) Great idea- when our garage/house reno gets going I may look at a similar idea. dimmable is another option to control light intensity when working under a lift, sometimes too much light creates impossible reflections and shadows.

I've used philips kinetics exterior led on many projects but there are a lot of good options. Philips LEDs are color corrected.

That is exactly what I'm looking to have!

I only have 3 days to figure it out or at to get the conduit in place.
