Im just curious if people would want Ferrari to bring back their v12s being rear mounted like the Testarosa days. I personally would love it if the f12 replacement came like that. I know they probably won't but i think alot of people would love to have a car like that. Lets face it, lamborghini just makes their v12s look so sexy having it rear mounted. I would love to see Ferrari do the same. What do you guys think?

that would kill prestige of limited editions like laFerrari and also steals customers from 488 and Aventador

Maybe because Enzo Ferrari said, the horses pull the plow

Yes, but not one of the 6L ones--something closer to 4L TT V12; maybe even 4L 4T V12. But it will never happen.

They should build one, starting price at usd 600k. That won't kill the V8-mid market. As for LaF, only 499 people will get upset, some more it's actually in a different level with just V12-mid, so won't be any problem. Aventador will be killed right away.

turbo V12 is no more V12 but just fatter V8, so building mid-engine car with V12TT is waste of engineers time, nowadays only naturally aspirated V12 is worth to build

The La is head and shoulders above a proposed rear-mid engines V12 series production Ferrari. No fear for that.

I do not agree. The price range would be higher than the 488 and it would not kill the limited editions, those cars are in their own league. The f12 does not kill any of that, then sticking the engine in the back should not either.

I grew up with the Berlinetta Boxer as my 'poster' Ferrari so, in my mind, Ferraris should always be rear engined.

    Yes.

Give me a rear V12 with a hardtop convertible or at least a targa. Heaven.

Loved the BB and TR and would be first in line to put a deposit on a mid engine 12. It's a pity only unavailable limited super expensive cars like the La Ferrari are the only mid engine 12's. Have owned a 599 but preferred the mid engine v8 Ferrari. A mid engine V12 would definitely make me trade up.

Eventually Ferrari will. I think in the future Ferrari will look like this

V6 TT mid engine "entry level Ferrari" It won't be cheap starting about 200k

    Front engine V8 4 seats

    Mid engine V8 coupe, spider

Front engine V12 GT Elegant design like F12 575

Mid engine V12 GT Aggressive design like the TR

    Halo V12 8-10 years

Plus a few one offs here and there

I think this is what Ferrari is going to look like in the future.
