    Anyone have them?
I'd like to see some pics and hear where you got them and what you recommend.

It sounds like 4 points are the 458 fair. Not sure if a sub bar can be mounted under the Ferrari race seats for 6 points or not.

I have seen it. Very well done...that said, has no one succeeded in a 6 point mount (sub straps) on the 458 racing seats ?

It will be difficult to mount a 6 point harness to the oem
racing style seats as you need the holes in the backrest for the belts
to go through and accommodate the 'submarine' strap to the seat.

safety gear is supposed to work as a system. You cant just mix and match or else you compromise the system. unless you plan to do a proper roll bar, hans, helmet, 6pt belts, etc, your factory 3pt belts are the safest.

It is possible to install 6-pts. in the Speciale...
Those are the same belts used in the 458 Challenge. Unfortunately the Speciale does not have the mounting-points, so my mechanic (who does Ferrari for more than 20 years and takes care of a Challenge car) had to find a workaround. He installed reinforcement-plates in the firewall and hooks for the shoulder-belts.
He also fixed hooks at the seats for the lap-belts.

Another two were mounted below the seat in the floor - also with reinforcement-plates.
I hook the belts in for trackdays and take them out for daily use so I get the best of both worlds.
All this took one day, the belts can be ordered from Ferrari or directly from Sabelt and had cost me 1500 Euros including installation.

Those 5-6th pt belts look more like a balls guillotine than an anti-submarining device.

In those seats you're not going to dive nowhere... Balls are safe :)

My installation is almost exactly the same as Andy 's version. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/143429445-post24.html However I've just used one reinforcement panel on the firewall for the shoulder belts. For the 6-point harness I've used Schroth's Formula version where its anti-sub belts are much thinner and their anchoring points could be very near to the lap belts. So that saved me installing another panel under the seat and I anchored them at the same hole as the lap belts.

Hi guys... I'm going with the 6 point belt harness option on my Speciale too. But in this case I'm using Fabspeed's harness bar.
I do how ever have a quick question.. Where did you mounted the lap belts...
On my old Stradale they mounted them on the seatbelt anchor points would rub against the center tunnel and over time destroyed all the upholstery on that section.
What alternatives do we have to mount the lap belts?

Ideally lap belts and anti-submarining belts (5th and 6th point) should be mounted on dedicated backing plates and eyebolts.

Also gotta keep in mind that a 6-pt harness will keep your body in place in the event of a crash, but will be brutal on your neck. Therefore those harness should only be used with a HANS device, and no airbag. They don't call it racing harness for no reason.
Not a good street racing device IMO

Again, IMO, the only ok-ish harness option for street use would be one of those ASM 4-pt harness. They look good, while still allowing your body to rotate and hit the airbag in the event of a crash.

Is it a problem that the anti sub belt is far in the front of the seat?
I mean not going trough the seat //?

    Thanks

Did you ever end up installing the 6 point harness with fab speed bar? Would love some photos of how you set it up.
