There was a dark teal SL73 for sale in DuPont Registry several years ago. It was in the US.

 

Get an SL600 and go to BrabusUSA to make it a 7.3. It will cost you more $$$ than buying an AMG 73 though

 

I should clarify that this was a RennTech car.

 

I think all the SL73s in the US are modified SL600s by RennTech or Brabus.
It's a very nice car, and lets not forget that the Zonda engine is derived from the engine in the SL73.

 

I haven't heard of any for sale in the US that are true AMG cars; only seen them in Europe. You should be able to import it easily if it has the OBD II system already on it. Also, the DOT add-ons should be readily available from dealerships since the R129 existed in the US at that time (MB has to keep making parts for the SL since it was only discontinued in '02).
