Here's my radio without the plate and knobs. December 12, 1978 production, original to the car. Image Unavailable, Please Login And under dash. No sleeve. The green sticker's not original to the radio, it's a Walter Odemer Co Inc. repair sticker. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Presently I am restoring a 1983 308 that is in original condition. It came with a Blaupunkt Tucson radio and amplifier. All of the components on the car are from the factory including the Goodyear tires. Unfortunately , the amplifier does not work and I cannot get a schematic for it. It appears the IC on the circuit board is dead.
Don't worry about that amp. Toss it. Find an Alpine 3531 on eBay and you will be good to go. It's small and has speaker level inputs which is what you will need for that Tucson.
It's worth repeating that the Ferrari factory did not install radios of any sort in the 308s. The audio equipment was always dealer installed - in this case, that would include your Blaupunkt Tucson radio and amplifier. Blaupunkt, Pioneer, Alpine, Becker, were all period correct and all delivered in the cars from the dealers (My 84 Euro 308 had a Becker Mexico 612 cassette unit).
Finally got the new blaupunkt sqr 46 installed. The opening did have to get filed down a bit but it looks great and works so much better. I can stream music and gps from my phone too Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
