another 10 points for hamilton... And Kimi is losing it, what's wrong with him ?? and what's wrong with the team !?
The Italian commentators have been saying this same thing for the past 3/4 races. Unfortunately it doesn't really seem to help Ferrari...
Ferrari may come good as the race goes on, the more rubber that gets put down, but that if it's not to late!!..
I have learned that qualifyung results are not the end of everything, except maybe at Monaco. I have no idea of Ferrari's fuel loads, and I certainly do not know what problems exist with either Ferraris. Only race results are important. Why does everyone immediately blame the driver? I would think the possiblity exists the chassis could be a problem and the drivers are doing the best they can.
Interesting interviews. Massa was not happy at all. Nice to see some mongrel peeking out there. He's not content to be on the podium. LH is irritating him a bit imho.
Well, last season only one GP was won by a driver starting below the front row and that was Kimi starting in 3rd. While qualifying is not the end, it is still very important. Hungary is the next closest in terms of difficulty to pass. Qualifying position is everything at Hungary, as it is at Monaco.
well, like i predicted, Hungary is Mclaren's hunting ground. however, i'm really pleased with Massa's performance. interesting to note that he's starting on the cleaner side of track. i hope he would get the jump on Kova. also, last year Ferrari forgot to refuel Massa, he never recovered from it, and finished 13th, ending his hopes of a WDC challenge. great turnaround this season however. pretty sad to see Kimster so far away. he must be still struggling with his car setup. i'm keeping my fingers crossed. i just hope it wont be a hattrick for Mclaren.
Last year Massa botched his fastest lap at Hungaroring, that's why he didn't advance further. He even admitted to it. His WDC challenge was ended by the Scuderia after Monza, where he had another abismal showing.
Certainly, but fuel load, fuel strategy, and then there is that tire wear issue, all are factors in both qualifyiing and race results. I am waiting for Ferrari to adapt the McLaren qualifying strategy, lighter fuel load to be up front. If you noticed, Hamilton has usually pitted before the Ferraris. I am sticking with my prediction of a Massa win.
true. but like i said, any mistakes from either Mclaren tomoro, or throw in a SC situation, if Ferrari call the shots right, Massa is the only man can take away the win from either Mclaren drivers tomoro.
I don't think anyone can catch Hamilton tomorrow. Massa should try to take Heikki and do some damage limitation for the WDC. Hopefully they'll get back to form for the remainder of the season but right now it's not looking good. I also think there isn't much difference between Ferrari and McLaren in the fuel load strategies. That's what I hoped for in Germany but it turned out they were quite similar. Maybe Kimi is heavier but he should be fighting for pole, not sixth. And what about Heidfeld?! He should really clean up his act and try to find a solution to his dismal qualifying form otherwise I think he will have his contract ended prematurally.
His qualifying is pathetic, but he is a constant bread winner for BMW and has helped them hugely getting to where they are in the constructors' points battle. They need a steady driver and said so all along: I got their press bulletin at the beginning of the season and that was exactly the expectation of him: Bring home points while Kubica is the flash in the pan driver: Good for a victory and the next race crashes out. So I don't think Nick will loose his seat prematurely, but I'm not sure he can hold on to it longer term. As in 2009 and beyond. He might end his F1 career without ever winning a race, which would be a shame.
Kimi like every race since the start of the season has 1 or 2 laps of fuel more (or less?) than Massa. There is obviously something wrong with Kimi these times, i guess it has something to do with the set up.
