I understand bird-man did a writeup on these but is there a place to buy everything in one place or do i need to piece together all the different items to make them work for the 308?

Birdman did do a writeup, it's here: http://www.birdman308.com/service/suspension/suspension.htm

There are custom parts described that were developed with Verell of Unobtainium Supply http://www.unobtainiumsupply.com/ Verell has a white paper on his support page, QA1 Shocks & Springs White Paper which described the installation and the parts - he sells all the custom bushings and spacers needed to fit the QA1 on a 308, and lists exactly what parts you need to order separately (many buy the shocks and springs etc. from Summit Racing, www.summitracing.com .) Between Verell and Summit Racing, you can buy all you need.

    Cheers,
    Gordon

Austin I used Spax adjustable coil overs. I’m very satisfied with my ride and the install was very straight forward. No requirement for any modifications. I also installed aftermarket urethane bushings and the ride is very good but the bushings are noisy. Some buyers remorse on the bushing purchase.

Is this just a one stop purchase that bolts up or does it need to be pieced together like the Qa1?

It was an easy direct replacement. You have to assemble the coil-over with the spring that you choose. Superformance sells the and shocks and springs. I did look into the Koni rebuild/adjustable perch conversion but chose the Spax. I have my OEM Konis safely stored if I ever want convert back to factory spec.

I have recently did the full thing...suspension...bushings and brake hoses.
Suspension QA-1 and Eichbach Springs from Summit Racing

A-arm Bushings from Nick Forza (if you want an alternative for the original)

Remaining bushings, tie rod ends and brake hoses from Superformance

    Ball joints from Maserati Source

considder Alden Eagle as well. Nick Forza sells them but you can go directly to them as well. They sell the springs and all the bushing too and no need to adapt anything on the suspension.
