Aha...congradulations! I'd thought you'd actually meant T51! You DO need a T52! Crosswaite & Gardiner also make T52 reps, as I recall. Tim Dutton may have one as well, I'd imagine.
Please note that the Bugatti model you are referring to is not called the T52 but the 'baby'. Bugwrench
Christies refers to them as both Type 52 and Baby. http://www.christies.com/LotFinder/lot_details.aspx?intObjectID=4950195
the "baby" bugatti shown is a t52..[check out a photo of a real factory number plate ].the "bebe" is a peugeot based on a bugatti design back in the teens...the black car shown is a "t35" as it has a single overhead cam, thus a central magneto placement on the dash...it has a pair of "t51" gas caps and a fashionable satin black paint job...the nice thing with the pur sang folks is you can order up a combination of pretty much most anything you want... i think they make a "t52" as well...
I have to disagree with dbw. The T52 was an engine design that was meant to replace the T50 engine but which did not materialise. The Type "Baby" (this is the only known factory reference for that car!) was first shown in 1927 when T52 would have been out of sequence. The very nice booklet about the car says: Voiture Électrique à accumulateur Type "Baby" pour enfants de 6 A 8 ans environ. So only a type name and not a type number and most certainly not T52. Sorry I do not know how to post a picture of this booklet. Bart340
Spoke with Pur Sang today, will likely visit the factory in May when I'm in the neighborhood on a business trip. Seriously considering ordering a baby from them for judge4re jr.
