Guys, I just watched the six parts of the documentary dedicated to Alain Prost on the French channel Canal plus. An anti-Netflix documentary, very balanced and moving. No Manichaeism with the good and bad. Just a story of an extraordinary pilot and an exciting time. I frankly don’t know how you can see it, really a shame..

Just some appetizers : Since 30 years (!) and Ayrton’s death he receives every week sad messages mainly coming from Brazil about their rivalry. No more hate just an indissociable fate between them. After Senna’s funerals family invited him to their house ( he was the only driver ). Senna’s mother showed him Ayrton’s child bedrooms where a picture of a young Formula One Prost driver was on the wall .. He said 1993 was an horrible year for him at Williams: an inhuman team without absolutely no support from Franck or Patrick Head. Ayrton was completely destabilized by this atmosphere at the beginning of 1994 too.. Mclaren described as a Family and 1990 a fantastic year at Ferrari with an incomparable passion from mechanics ( his words).
I'll watch it in French and try to figure things out as they go along. Taking everything into account, Prost is probably my favorite driver. I remember in one race, the announcer said "Prost is slowing down, he's in trouble." In fact, he set a fastest lap. His technique was that smooth.
Anyone find this yet? I did searches on Amazon Prime and Roku...found nothing. I'll pay to watch...but where?
Looks like in France the serie is available on Apple TV in English too.. Don’t know for the rest of the world.
