In the ancient past, I purchased the sliding glass for the doors, remakes. Alas, terribly ill fitting. the curvature was all wrong, a gap of 1/2" at the lower felt. Trash. Does anyone have a top-notch supplier for these parts, or in its defect, used originals will do quite nicely. This is for a Coupe, 1970. Thank you. Regards, Alberto
I have the same question for GTS door glass with proper curvature - if anyone has a decent suggestion (and its not Superformance on this occasion). Thank you!
Matthew, welcome to the club of poorly made parts. As soon as I find the invoice of the bums who sold me mine, I will post the source. I really don't get it. Go through all the trouble of making something, and don't bother to make it right. WRONG!!!! Now I have 2 pieces of glass that are good for the Bin. Regards, Alberto
Alberto, I have a 70 GT 01162. I bought my door glass from Dino Parts after purchasing elsewhere with the same issues that you had. The Dino Parts glass fitted acceptably for me.
Spoke to Alfredo at DinoParts today and he reckons that their glass is good - so I guess I'll give that a try. Best, Matt
My experience trying to fit a replacement door glass several years ago, a window that fit another Dino well was a poor fit in mine. I don't recall what year or series the other Dino was, but the point is that don't expect a `good' door glass will fit all Dinos.
Fortunately, I have my original door glass. However, when I got the car, there was no bolt at the bottom of the passenger side front window channel. I added one with a spacer. Later I noticed that the window was slow and struggled. After trying several things, I removed the bolt and spaced and the window no longer struggled. I did add a bolt, but with a better fitting spacer. My only point is only that the front and rear channels need to work in harmony.
Matt, See below short video of the glass operation of my door glass from Dino parts. It is only a short clip because it was all I could upload here. PM me if you want me to e-mail you a full up and down operation of the glass. Hi Alberto, Bought and fitted a drop glass from Dino parts recently. Fitted OK, not 100% perfect but very good in my opinion especially after trying some other suppliers with absolutley no chance of it fitting and working correctly. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/attachments/img_0046-mov.3138294/ DinoParts, Stefan likes this.
Alberto, if you want me to send you any photos of the fit let me know. Note that the doors had new window channels fitted before I fitted the glass.
Thank you Charles, I would like to see the windows all the way up , and see the gap between the horizontal outside felt on the door and the glass. Mine works marginally OK on the inside, but the outside curvature is so lacking that I can slip my pinkie between the glass and the felt when all the way up. Regards, Alberto

The replacement glass operates slightly faster than the original Sicursiv glass on the other door! If you want a video of the up down movement PM me your e-mail address as the file is too large to upload here.
Thank you Charles! Gives a better impression now. One last thing, is there a gap at the horizontal bottom, between the glass and the door felt? Regards, Alberto
Hi Alberto, gap between glass and door felt on my car is as follows: Quarter light end 4mm Center of door 2.5mm Door handle end 2mm Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I meant this is a problem that people have mentioned over the years but not really having a great alternative. I was curious to see peoples comments about this possible solution, which looks better than previous options
Shawn, imagine, this issue has been rolling around forever, and yet... No one has bothered to take a set of factory glass and copy 100%. What is wrong? We're not even talking rear glass or the windshield. Scary. There has to be demand for PROPER curvature glass, as those gaps are just wrong. Period. Regards, Alberto
Looks impressive! My problem is with the GTS - and the alignment of the top of the new glass to the roof panel. The problem seems to be the (lack of) curvature of the replacement glass (not from DinoParts) whereas the originals fit perfectly - but are really scratched. I've looked into professional glass polishing but that does not seem an entirely risk free route with warnings of possible heat fractures and opaque patches. hmmm....
