Do the production codes show up in the app, or do you have to ask the dealer? My VIN showed up in the app last week, along with my confirmed spec, but can’t see any codes?

My information may be out of date as it was two years ago, but when I ordered my Porto I had to get the codes from the dealer, not the app.
Of course the dealer never sent me the codes. I had to keep asking!
If you have a VIN your car should already be in production.

Good luck. Post some pics when you get her

Codes are part of the internal build process nomenclature. They will show up on the build plaque in the trunk of your car eventually. But the app itself will only show some of the names of the items you’ve chosen for with build, without the abbreviation codes.

The app will show you VIN and three production photos. Your dealer can get you the exact status updates. Some are proactive about it, some you need to request it. I just picked up my Portofino M on Friday, I never asked for status updates until I saw the third production photo. It was about 2 months from VIN to end of production, then 3 months for shipping to San Diego. As soon as it was on a truck from the port my dealer got the invoice and we were able to do all the paperwork in advance which made the pick up a lot more fun. Here are my dates:

    ordered 3/27/21
    allocated 2/23/22
    VIN 4/16/22
first picture 6/1/22 (body in white)
    second picture 6/8/22 (painted chassis)
    loaded on a boat 6/9/22
    third picture 6/11/22 (full assembly)
confirmed at Port of New Jersey, waiting for customs 8/20/22
on a truck headed to San Diego 8/29/22
arrived at dealer 9/7/22 (dealer prep, PPF)
    picked up 9/23/22

    This is interesting as your numbers are very different to mine..... May be due to the August summer holidays in Italy;

    Ordered 4/25/22
    Allocated (I have no idea)
    VIN 8/19/22
first picture 9/7/22 (Body in White)
    second picture 9/15/22 (painted chassis)
loaded on a boat (I hope so..... I will ask my dealer)
    third picture 9/29/22 (full assembly)

I hope that it doesn't take another 3 months to get my car!!

This will be interesting to track. My dealer basically said they had no visibility between shipping and "officially" arriving at the Port of new Jersey. No idea what the car was up to for 2+ months. It was another 10 days to clear customs and get loaded on a truck. Another nine days to arrive in San Diego.

Porsche does it so much better.

You get to see the ship name, port loading and everything.

I will keep a close eye on this and see what I can find out.

I agree - despite people moaning all over renlist about “track your dream”. I’ve found it to be great. My last two turbo S (2021, 2022) were super easy to track online along the way and amazingly when they landed, cleared custom and were delivered in under a week. Meanwhile, My f8 has been “in shipping” since august 2 and seems like it will be another 6 weeks based on most data points I’ve seen here

Trust the Germans to get that right!

Did you actually get the ship name for your F8?

Dealer says likely November production… so maybe Jan Feb delivery based on your timeline?
Now the painful wait until vin assigned and production photos .

Good deal, it was two months from VIN to end of production, then three months from leaving Italy to arriving in San Diego.

Seattle areas - nope no delivery. Got board waiting so I’m buying this tomorrow. Figured my car will come in sometime in the next few weeks but with winter here won’t drive it anyway

That's a better option for the winter!!

But seriously, where is your car???

How can it take so long when my car was at the factory on the 8/29 and it is arrived at the service department last week in Beverly Hills.

I think it is just weird..... Perhaps the boat vis Via Australia??

Yeah it is weird! There is an order status post in the f8 section and Im not alone. In fact, most people seem to be dealing with this at least with the f8. Based on the known ships Ferrari uses snd on the shipping route from Italy to New Jersey, my car should have arrived to New Jersey on Aug 26 but stayed 90 until November 5. Most guesses point to the cars sitting in a container for months due to port backlog They finally open the containers months later and scan the car into inventory which undatea the system in modis? Why the car continues to sit in customs maybe lack of inspectors or inspection backlog and or lack of transportation. Honestly who knows? I just don’t see how a public company operates like this? At the end of the day, no one seems to know anything, or if they do, they are not saying. Regardless, Congrats on your new ride!!!! That’s an amazing timeline! Post lots of photos

I get one 40ft container per month and I use many different ports including LA which are the worst!

I personally think that it is an F8 parts shortage and they are holding them until the parts come in. It can only be this is other F8 guys are waiting too???

Here is my Roma... There is no way it cleared the port before yours, that's just not how that works. Also, the ports charge an mental fee for storage, so this is definitely not an option.

Interesting thought for sure. Why the 3 month wait from 90 shipping to 91 at port? Love the Roma. What’s the paint on that? Looks similar to a 812 I saw recently

Car finally cleared customs and supposed to arrive at the dealer tomorrow. Hopefully prepped and ready by next week..... I little over 14 months from order which doesn't seem too bad but still nuts since it completed production in July!

Just got my VIN for my Roma , does that mean the car is already in production or it’s going to be in production in the next few months. Thank you.
