    Any suggestions? I was told Auto Connection has had Ferrari experience but they don't have a service shop? Other option was the Porsche dealer?

    I understand Bill Mitchell would have the experience, but he's serviced the car and is friends with the seller so I'd like to keep it arms-length.

    Hey, just noticed this. I can look at the car next week if its at Bill's, but not a qualified PPi by ANY stretch, only a visual. Ray Spiers (tech at Bill's) will not - in my estimation - 'endorse' an unendorsable car though. I'll be in touch to help as I can.

    You may also want to think about HESCO in Bham. They work on F-cars was well, and Birmingham is only about an hour and 20 mins from Montgomery -

    I looked for a PPI in Birmingham and surrounding areas; there were two shops that did exotic work, Hesco and World Class....BUT NO ONE WAS EVER FACTORY TRAINED is what I was told and one of them and I think it was Hesco told me anything more than a oil change and annual type services they did not do; and I saw the report on a 348 that was done by one shop and it was to me a waste of money; I had actually talked to Ron Reineke the Ferrari of Atlanta Tech who is now on his own. He agreed to drive to Birmingham and do the PPI, however the car was sold prior to me getting to that point, Doc

    Good insight - I have never used HESCO, but remember now when you were looking for a PPI here.

    Thanks -- I had sent you an e-mail or two regarding this -- the seller will take the car to Bill's shop and you & Ray can look it over. Ray had worked on it but hasn't seen it in a year.

    Main thing visuals (seller describes as a 9/10 ext/int) and with regards to maintenance/drivability - any transmission issues and (if) Ray can get an SD2 reading of the car (I'll talk to him directly about this).
