Yup, it is a base car and super cheap. They had a couple others as well, I don't know if they've sold.

Socal I’ll be in Scottsdale for a few days but I’m pretty tight with meetings. When I get my schedule nailed down I’ll shoot you a DM maybe we can link up.
I have both cars in my garage. A 488 Spider and a 2018 720S. My 720S has been in the shop 6 times since new. So many electrical problems. That being said, I love the car. I'd much rather drive the 720 than the Ferrari. The Ferrari just does not have the thrill like the Mac does. It literally gets people to drive off the road as we drive by. Make sure you have a dealership near by, because you are gonna need to make friends with the service tech.
I posted this on F-chat, but since separate forum now, I'll post here. As much as I LOVE 720, it's just not for ME for many reasons. I officially gave up on 720 this week. As much as I love it, after seeing 140 listed online for sale (and another 4-6 not posted at each dealer--which means probably another 50 new for sale -- 180 easy at this point) screams issues to me. I'm kicking myself for letting my Performante allocation go for April delivery. Now impossible to get in coupe. And only two dozen for sale online. 24 vs 180+ that is what is wrong with Mac. With the Ferrari 15 new models program they will see same over production issues and depreciation (albeit not has harsh maybe). I love the 720, but it's not in my cards. Struggling to find a new Performante coupe at this point. Pretty much sold out...need I say more. Long live NA.
Still can't get over the fact these are the same seats from the decade old scud, yet Ferrari chose to cheap out and use plastic for the highlighted piece (and other bits) in the Speciale & Pista instead of carbon like its 10yr old predecessor AND STILL get away with charging us customers more for less...smh. Agree and good post. FWIW- I’ve had no issues in the couple of months of owenership and luckily my Mclaren dealer is less tha. 5 miles from me.
Performante is a great car. Enjoy your Porsche for a while. I’m sure you will find a suitable replacement. Good luck with the search.
Is this the 'official' 720 incoming thread...or does one need to start a new one? Just a question. No particular reason I'm asking. IF one were to post something, since it's SoCal's post they wouldn't want to be rude.
By all means...let’s make this the official thread for all I care. The more the merrier. We are all enthusiasts here of all cars!
Ok...then official 720 thread this is...I'M IN!!!! So a L O N G journey to McLaren for me. I've been looking for years and always came back to the standard reasons not to buy one. Stuck with other brands Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo, etc. That all really started to change with intro of 720 last year. I knew I wanted that car, but needed to play the cards right and wait for second year. After seeing spider, I said without a doubt I want the coupe. Hunt radar went on about 5 months ago. A lot of BS with some terrible dealers...and a few good ones. It was a waiting game for right color, etc, etc...which ultimately never happens unless you order. I wanted a '19 and thought I had one 6 weeks ago with a 2 car deal that went to hell when other guy flaked. Really jutted me...but knew I needed to hold strong and wait for deal. Then the Ferrari and Lambo 'demons' start messing with my mind and I almost went back to Performante. I still want one someday as that sound is vicious. Long story longer, on Dec 31st at 5pm I finally sealed the deal. It was way too good to pass up and brand new. Does it have everything I want...no. If I were ordering I'd probably add 360 camera, color calipers and seat belts. Two of the three I can change after. Had to do some in/out tax trading with one dealer to another both in two different states, blah, blah...but got finalized today (a lot of drama to say least, but $$ has been sent). Now the WORST part. Transport. My normal carrier is not going to be able to get to it until end of Jan due to Scottsdale auctions. Hoping for pick up with another private carrier soon. So until then...please allow me to post some tease shots until arriving whenever. I appreciate SoCal for all of his PM's and enabling. Many others here as well aided in the sickness--I appreciate the info all around. Image Unavailable, Please Login
