My Current run times are as follows

    1). 1 mile pending lol probably 5:30
    2). 2 miles 11:40 goal 10ish
3). 5 mile run 39:45 not at full pace, goal is 35 minutes

For the first time I wore a watch during my 5 mile run my 3-5 mile time was faster than first 2.lol

How are you timing these? On thread mile or on an actual track?

I run outside, noticed the first 2 miles are all up hill that would explain the slower times.

I drove the street's I ran and I remember pretty well at what point 1 mile,2,3,4 final mile being home.

Wearing a sportwatch is uncomfortable but it did motivated me to run faster that usual also running outside is much harder than thread mill.

Have you done any cross country? I've found that a nice wooded area is nicer to run than either a treadmill or a track.

Damn I'm slow but at least I'm doing it........

I just get on my treadmill and go between 5 and 6 for as long as I can while adjusting the incline....

Thanks. See I really dont know how fast I am doing the mile in. Thread mell I never push it that hard and usually do a 6 min mile. As for on the street with big hills, I will do 2.5 miles in about 17 min.

It's not too close to olympic times, the 1500m records are sub-3:30, mile is 1600m so olympic times would be around 3:45. As far as the two mile (3200m), it's not an olympic event but world record is 8:04. I competed on a high school and collegiate level only.

    1 mile. 24:30

Triangular course in a lake, slight wind toward shore. It was pretty tough, but I swim faster than I run...
