Two of my scary friends.
8.4 at the 1/4? Nice. And yes there are plenty of cars in the states (even 4 banger DSM´s, shep racing, brent raw) that would eat the turbo busa. Dont take this in the wrong way, I really think you got a badass bike (which seems very properly built in the pics), but I do not believe for one second that it would beat all it meets. And btw 184mph in the 1/4 mile, that really is impressive...I think your 60 foot time could be reduced immensely with some proper chassis work. Edit: Sorry to the thread maker for the hijack. I´ll end the discussion here
Problem for me is that I weigh over 225lbs..... Keep in mind I am picking up 50mph in the second half, without a boost controller, at 64 inches no wheelie bar. The guy that is building my next Busa has multiple bikes in the 60 inch class that run 7:80's at 190+. My bike was made for top speed runs, 5th and 6th gear are overdrive and the bike is geared to run 265mph. The sister bike holds a Bonneville record at 236mph with the builder on board (Dennis CLanton). Since then Noonan has run 246mph. There is a Busa in the UK that recently ran 276mph on asphalt too.... My next bike will be mind bending. Image Unavailable, Please Login
im with this guy I managed to crash my zx600 in 10 days of ownership. I wonder for how long BH1 must have been riding

Holy crap that Agusta is beautiful! BH1 Id be happy to see what kind of times I could get out of your bike lol. So your running a built 6 speed shifted by your feet or an airshifter? Ive seen a busa run 8 flat at 190 it was crazy!
I swore I would only buy a black crotch rocket, but I think that MV may have just sold me on non-black.
My in progress giant killer - the mighty 1966 Ducati 160 Monza Jr. 'cuz I got tired of posting pictures of my 996... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thats funny and very odd! I love Ohio and my jobs fun, Im also a bagger. Your Agusta is truly a work of art.
Here is my current bike. It doubles as a street/track bike, but mostly track as I have slowed down the street riding. I have been toying with the idea of replacing it with a newer bike as track only, and building a custom pro street chopper, but have not decided yet. Sorry for the poor quality, it was a quick shot with my old phone. Image Unavailable, Please Login
thanks...you are kind. she's not bad for an old girl huh? as a note, i just sold some spare corsa parts on e-bay...i could not believe the prices people paid!!!!!
Nice turbo package on the Busa...I was looking for one for the VTX, but the company making it was no longer producing them, no reason why....Also another company called Dr Turbo or something, puts them out for the 1800 VTX(mine is a 1300) producing 150hp total for the stock VTX1800. I sent an email inquiring about possible 1300 packages, not bad for 4k.
BH1, Are those Gilles Rear Sets? if so, how do you like them? when I do get another bike (looking at maybe picking up one of the k7 suzuki GSX-R1000) and would like to hear your opinion on them, since you are infact not using an air shifter (which, I must say is very impressive to run those time foot shifting). Anyway.. thanks for your future input
